Hearts of Oak have paid tribute to their long-serving kits officer, Abdul Rahman Alhassan, for his contribution to Ghana’s campaign at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Alhassan is part of the Black Stars’ backroom staff in the United States, where he serves as the national team’s kits manager, ensuring players and technical officials are fully equipped before and after matches.

While goalkeeper and Hearts captain Benjamin Asare has earned widespread praise for his performances at the tournament, the Phobians turned the spotlight on Alhassan’s behind-the-scenes role.

In a social media post, Hearts wrote: “Not all heroes wear the jersey on the pitch. Behind every match is a team working tirelessly, and we’re proud to see our Kits Officer Abdul Rahman Alhassan representing Ghana at the World Cup. From Hearts to the world.”

Alhassan has served Hearts of Oak for several years, playing a key role in the club’s day-to-day operations.

Meanwhile, Asare is expected to lead Ghana against Colombia in Friday’s Round of 32 clash in Kansas City.
