Newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town have opened discussions with Leicester City over the possible signing of Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ahead of the new season.
The talented winger has emerged as a transfer target for Ipswich as the club looks to strengthen its squad following its return to the English top flight.
However, Ipswich could face stiff competition for the 22-year-old’s signature, with clubs from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and France also monitoring his situation. Premier League side West Ham United are also reported to have maintained a long-term interest in the Ghanaian attacker.
Issahaku remains one of Ghana’s highly rated young wingers, and his future is expected to attract significant attention during the transfer window.
Negotiations between Ipswich Town and Leicester City are still in the early stages, with no agreement reached yet as the Championship club weighs its options regarding the player’s future.
