Ghanaian boxer Michael Tagoe has declared his ambition to win the Ghana National Super Featherweight title, insisting he is ready to compete for the prestigious belt after gaining valuable experience in the local boxing scene.

Speaking on Omashi TV, Tagoe said he believes this is the right time to challenge for the national championship following a series of tough fights against established opponents, including Michael Abban, Charles Tetteh, Daniel Gorsh and Benjamin Lamptey, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, with whom he fought to a draw.

The boxer, who has a professional record of 13 fights, with seven wins, five defeats and one draw, expressed confidence in his ability to defeat any opponent.

“I know this is my year to win the title and I am fully prepared and ready to take on any opponent,” Tagoe stated.

He credited his development to intensive training at Seconds Out Gym under coaches Darko Rickets and Joseph Martey, where he has sparred with experienced fighters from different weight divisions.

Tagoe also unveiled a new management team led by Eugene Lamptey, with support from La Farmacia Lounge and Sports Bar. The team believes the disciplined boxer has the commitment and talent to achieve his dream of becoming Ghana’s National Super Featherweight champion.
